“My wife and I stayed here for 3 days, 2 nights because we wanted to return here after being here 29 years ago for our honeymoon. Back then it was called “Le Club Sedili”. It was nice to catch up with one of the staff here who has been with this establishment since that time. Now onto the review. If you are looking for a quiet place to disconnect, to getaway from the bustling rush of city life, or for a spiritual retreat to refresh and reset, this is the place you need to consider. It is nestled deep in Sedili Besar and sits atop of a cliff overseeing the South China Sea. You’ll need your own trailer to get here. We rode our motorcycle in. Do take note that there is NO WIFI PROVIDED and you need to rely on your mobile data but there are times the signal is weak or drops altogether. That didn’t bother us. My wife and I stayed in the Glamping Suite. We loved it as it was cosy and clean, and the bathroom is very spacious. If you are someone who needs lots of amenities, wifi, 5 star accommodation with room service at your back and call, I say look elsewhere. This will not be what you are looking for. This is a simple, rustic, down to earth, kampung feel resort. You are one with nature and that’s it. It’s really great for couples in my opinion although the management did share that they have church and corporate groups who book from time to time for their organisations. Ala in all, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here. Thank you Sea Horizon Resort. 😊❤️🙏🏼”

“Overall I would say it has really amazing view for a quick getaway from the city, super quiet, serene, beautiful ocean and landscaping. I booked it very last minute to go with my family - and they all felt this place is underrated, definitely the resort has a lot of potential (probably need huge investor). Definitely would consider to come back again for the view. I din take pic of the resort/room unfortunately for the price is not bad, but not amazing. Good for a weekend one night stay. Pros: Breathtaking and amazed by the view of the ocean one of the most underrated view in my experience travelling around the world in luxury resorts, staff is very helpful & friendly, resort and room were clean, bed was comfortable. Cons: Resort require major refurbishment across 90% of its rooms, limited food option inside/outside of the resort, the rock beach requires some cleaning if you plan to walk down to see the ocean.nic ocean views. Truly recommend their excellent service.”

“Very good glamping Experience for the family. The tents are right in front of the sea, with the forest beside. So much opportunities to see animals, Giant monitor lizards around the property, Tropical birds like Hornbills and eagles, every morning you can spot monkeys foraging for Shell fish on the rocky shore. The entire beach front is made up of of millions of years old petrified trees. Food options are good in the restaurant . They have a swimming pool too. The service is very good. You can also bring your own cooking equipment and cook your own food.”

The free dinner from the restaurant was awesome also the breakfast directly send to our room with the dedicated time slot.”

“Just went there last weekend. The room with king bed and large space was really comfy. Only the water pressure a bit slow. Feel safe with very friendly security guard at the front gate. Security guard will open and. Close the gate for visitors. Excellent service right after I made booking via their website. They send me a WhatsApp Message to confirm the booking. Location a bit far from main road. Honest advice, better fill your petrol at least half tank because the location quite far from petrol pump. Also better to order breakfast together during check in. Overall nice place to stay and relax 😊”
